Jim Jiambalvo, Ph.D., Orin and Janet Smith Dean

For us, personal engagement matters with our students. Whether it's face to face or mediated via technology, this Hybrid MBA fundamentally reflects the value we place in using every means possible to engage students to fully develop and excel in their academic and professional careers.

Bruce J. Avolio, Ph.D., Mark Pigott Chair in Business Strategic Leadership, Executive Director, Center for Leadership & Strategic Thinking

Many professionals find time to be a barrier to pursing an MBA. Between a hectic work commute, a day full of meetings, and a never-ending inbox, people are busier than ever before. With the two-year Foster Hybrid MBA Program, students have greater control over their time with online coursework and a handful of days on the UW Seattle Campus.
