Previous Degrees

BA, Business Administration- Finance, University of Washington

Why Foster

I was attracted to the pragmatic approach the Foster MSBA curriculum takes in teaching deeply quantitative tools and strategies pointed directly at solving modern business problems. For me, I had already developed some competence in a number of self-taught data techniques, and with the Foster MSBA program I hope to build on, sharpen, and professionalize that trade. That said, I have also been surprised with the number of times I’ve been introduced to a smarter or faster way to approach a problem in areas I previously considered myself already quite proficient in.

Why Foster

After being at the University of Washington for 4 years during my undergrad, I knew about the quality of education I would receive at the Foster school. Once I looked more into the program there were a lot of aspects that fit in with my career goals and strengths as a learner. While the coursework was interesting, the emphasis on team-based learning and a cohort model was what sold me on the school and the program.
