Programming & Workshops

Professional development programming is offered by Career Management and Student Services teams around career development, executive presence and social/emotional skills for leaders. These take place virtually and in person at immersions during the duration of the program. Alumni also have access to some of these offerings.

Speaker Series
Speaker Series

The speaker series showcases successful leaders, executives, and entrepreneurs from a variety of organizational sizes. Topics span leadership, entrepreneurship, and globalization to social innovation and business growth strategies. An event brings students, alumni, and community members together to network as well as hear leadership philosophies and strategies that have transformed a speaker’s career, organization, and life.

Career Coaching
Career Coaching

In tandem with the other Career Management offerings, Hybrid MBA students have the opportunity for 1:1 career coaching. Students can schedule virtual meetings with one of two career coaches through an easy to use the calendaring system.

Alumni Mentorship Program
Alumni Mentorship Program

The Alumni Mentorship Program is an opt-in; application-based program. Its primary goal is to provide opportunities for rewarding conversations around professional experience, career advancement, and general situational advice (not employment-finding).
The Alumni Mentorship Program has a custom software platform that assists in building a mentoring community, supporting mentor-mentee matching, and measuring program effectiveness.

Job Search Work Teams
Job Search Work Teams

Career Management Team syncs up students who are at the same stage in their job search forming accountability groups. This allows for unique networking and bonding opportunity across different cohorts.

On-Demand Career Course
On-Demand Career Course

Students also have access to an on-demand Career Management course developed by Hybrid’s Course Development team. This course – just like our academic courses- is the home for Career Management’s events, programming, and an internal job board. This four-module course has resources for every stage of the career search from high-impact Linkedin profiles to offer negotiation practice.

Hybrid MBA Career Treks

An MBA Trek is a curated trip to a key metropolitan area wherein students visit local companies and engage directly with senior leadership about company culture, operations, career opportunities with the aim for students to experience a diverse set of industries, from tech to manufacturing to consulting. Ultimately, the Trek provides students a holistic understanding of the business ecosystem in the given locale.
