Join us for the UW Foster School of Business PhD Program’s Virtual Open House on October 20th, 2023, from 2 PM to 4 PM (PDT)!

This virtual event is tailored to undergraduates and graduate students interested in pursuing a doctoral degree in various business areas, including Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Information Systems, Operations Management, Organizational Behavior, Technology Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Management.

- 20-minute school and program overview by Program Director Crystal Farh
- 30-minute PhD student panel sharing their journey and Foster School of Business experiences
- 30-minute breakout sessions hosted by faculty PhD coordinators
- General Q&A on the application process

PhD Project
The PhD Project’s Annual Conference is the flagship event. During the conference, we give prospective doctoral students a realistic look at every phase of the PhD journey as well as an opportunity to network with current doctoral students, business school representatives, professors and partner organizations — all in one place.
Who Should Apply?
Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible to apply to the annual conference, meet all the following requirements:
- Black/African American, Latinx/Hispanic American or Native American
- A U.S. citizen or permanent U.S. resident
- In your senior year of college by the time you attend the conference or already possess a minimum of an undergraduate degree
