My research interests currently lie in how status and power influence our workplace behavior. Each of us carries different dimensions of status (i.e. minority status, workplace status) in our lives. Does having high status in one setting affect how you react to having low status in another? How do the rank-gaining strategies of dominance and prestige tie into the theory behind status and power? These are some of the questions I'm currently investigating.
