The Executive Development Program at UW Foster School of Business is a nine-month work-compatible certificate program designed for busy professionals who want access to advanced business knowledge without the time or financial commitment of a traditional MBA degree program.

Acquire new tools and techniques that address your company’s current challenges and expand your management abilities, increasing your effectiveness at work while you learn. Examine the relationships between business functions from marketing to finance, competitive strategy to change management. The program curriculum emphasizes strategic planning and the impacts of macroeconomics, technology and culture on business.
Fit your study into the work week
Classes meet weekly on Monday evenings (4:30 – 9 p.m.) for nine months (September – May). Parking, meals, books and materials are provided so you can make the most of your time on campus. Course materials are available online. Depending on the topic area, students spend between 4-6 hours per week in preparation for class by reading case studies and articles provided by the professor or working on their capstone project. There are no tests or graded assignments to complete.
