The Finance and Business Economics Department at the University of Washington Foster School of Business is a collegial group of thought leaders based in one of the world’s most dynamic cities. The Finance and Business Economics Department is pleased to offer a new special topics course named

“The Startup Nation: Understanding Israel’s Exceptional Innovation.”

The course (Fin 490 C: SLN: 22041: Winter 2025 — meets TTh, 1:30-3:20pm) will examine the history and cultural aspects of the country’s unique economic development, focusing on the lessons learned from Israel’s success and innovation, and how those lessons learned might be extended to other nations in the region.
