The first, wide presentation of new research in finance is often found on SSRN’s Financial Economics Network (FEN). Many of these papers are early drafts of papers eventually published, or soon to be published, in top finance journals.

Google Scholar author pages provide citation counts suggesting the impact of faculty research on the discipline and may also present both a good snapshot, as well as the arc, of a researcher’s interests and inquiries over time.
