- Staffs a branch of the United Way Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program at the Foster School of Business to give back to our community. Accounting students helped Washington households file over 2600 returns providing refunds totaling $5,338,335.00 in 2021

The Accounting Development Fund provides private support to the UW Foster School of Business Department of Accounting. Gifts to this fund help create the margin of excellence that keeps the Foster Accounting programs among the best in the nation by providing resources to attract and retain high quality faculty and students. With this private support, the Department of Accounting can produce cutting-edge research, support faculty attendance at national conferences, sponsor student participation in accounting case competitions and assist students in obtaining internship opportunities and great jobs through an excellent education in Accounting.
