FOSTERing MBA Community & Connections Diversity Breakfast
9:00–10:00 a.m.
FOSTERing MBA Community & Connections features students from Foster’s diversity clubs and Consortium members of our current student community. This event is intended to build community and have casual and candid chats about the Foster student experience from students who have historically been underrepresented in the MBA landscape. While most of the discussions presented during this event pertain to historically underrepresented students, this session is open to all students interested in getting connected to diversity clubs and resources and/or engaging in upcoming initiatives and learning opportunities. Significant others (Blue Dots) are welcome too.
Gasworks Brewing meetup
12:00–2:00 p.m.
Admitted students and Blue Dots are invited to meet up with current students at one of their favorite local venues for a goodbye drink with one of the most iconic waterfront views of Seattle. Use this as an opportunity to explore Wallingford and Fremont, two popular neighborhoods for MBAs and local young professionals and envision yourself immersed in a city that’s steps from the great outdoors.
What is a Blue Dot?
This is our fond moniker for spouses/partners of current students. At Welcome Weekend, you’ll see that Blue Dots have blue dot stickers on their name tags — and that’s the story of Blue Dots. Please know they are welcome and strongly encouraged to attend each and every aspect of Welcome Weekend. We even offer travel stipends for them!
