Your Next Steps

Visit Campus

The best way make this choice with clarity and confidence is to visit campus and discover what makes Foster unique. You’ll learn more about curriculum, career services, student organizations, special programs, and facilities while on the grounds.

If you’re local or love the excitement of a last-minute trip, join us for Shadow Day on Tuesday, May 12.

AM SessionPM Session

Too soon? You can still visit campus! We’d love to have you here, and hope to have the opportunity to work with you in planning your visit. Would you like to have lunch with a current student, tour campus, sit in on a class, or meet one-on-one with a career coach? Email [email protected] and let us know how we can personalize your experience.

Spouses and significant others are also welcome! We know that you’ll make this decision together and hope that both of you will have the opportunity to get a genuine sense of the community you’d be joining.

Talk to Someone Who’s Done It

The most useful signal you’ll get is a real conversation. Contact us to connect with a current student in your target industry or function, or reach a Foster alum in your target city. These aren’t scripted talking points, these are people who made the same decision you’re making now.

Review Your Financing Options

Foster is a top-ranked program at a public university known for one of the best ROIs among US business schools. Before you finalize your decision, review scholarship, fellowship, and loan options. Many admitted students don’t realize the full scope of aid available.

Start Planning Your Move

Orientation is closer than it feels, running the last week of August into early September. Review the relocation guide for neighborhoods, housing, and logistics. Current students are happy to answer questions about living in Seattle; ask us to connect you.

Welcome to Seattle

If you’re new to the area, Seattle is home to some of the highest concentrations of technology, life sciences, aerospace, and sustainable business activity in the country. Foster’s location is a recruiting and network advantage that compounds across your career. In addition to a large and active alumni network, we have a wide variety of industries representing regional, national, and global scales, as well as dozens of growth-stage companies, many of which recruit directly from Foster.

Orientation

Required orientation activities begin on:

  • Friday, August 31 for all students
  • Wednesday, August 26 for international students

You’ll be on-campus Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm each day and your calendar will fill up quickly with both academic and social commitments. Please plan your summer fun prior to late August.
