Information sessions are great vehicles for your company to share information about your firm’s culture and career opportunities. They are generally held on-campus Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during the lunch hour from 12:30-1:20 p.m. and are the most popular and well-attended employer information sessions we offer. We may also be able to accommodate you for an early morning or evening event. Ask us about holding a Breakfast Connection, evening information session, happy hour, or networking event if you are interested.
Information sessions are typically comprised of a presentation giving an overview of the company, positions you hire MBAs for, what makes your company a great place to work, and any other relevant information followed by Q&A. An MBA internship typically is a full-time, paid position lasting 10 to 12 weeks, beginning in mid-June or early July. Students look for an internship that will add depth to their resumés through hands-on experience and substantial contact with decision makers. Along with expanding their functional skills, many students seek internships as a way to build industry knowledge. Internships might involve preparing marketing plans, market valuation analysis, financial analysis/forecasting, process/systems improvement or projects co-created by you and the MBA intern. We will post job descriptions for contract positions, but do require that the hiring company name be included in the posting. We do not work with any recruiters who require a fee from our students.

On-campus interviews allow you to meet a number of pre-selected Foster MBAs here at the Foster School in a concentrated time block. You choose the date and length of interviews. We handle the job posting and resume submissions. You choose the applicants you want to meet and we take care of the scheduling—we’ll even buy you lunch!
On-Campus Interview Process Overview
1. Schedule your on-campus interview
Interview day details: You will work with the corporate recruiting team to decide on:
- Number of interview rooms
- Start and end times plus breaks
- Length of interviews
- Type of schedule (back-to-back two interviews per candidate or regular one interview per candidate)
- Who will be conducting interviews from your company
- Lunch requests
Application process: Once a date(s) has been confirmed, we will post your position online on Foster Jobs and collect resumes/cover letters for you. In order to post your position we will need to know the location, work authorization requirements, and any additional application instructions for the position. Once your job posting is closed for application (usually two weeks before your on-campus interviews), you will receive an application bundle of candidates for your review. You will then select your interview invite list one week prior to your interview date and we will notify and schedule the students for you. Your final schedule, along with parking, directions, and logistics, will be available to you at least two days before your interview date.
2. Your interview day
All interviews will take place in the MBA Career Management office in Dempsey Hall 212-L. We provide a full parking reimbursement for all interviewers to park in our lot across the street. On the day of interviews, we you suggest you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time to get settled. We will have interview packets printed with your schedule and student resumes as well as coffee and lunch.
3. Next steps
At the end of your interview day, the corporate recruiting team will set up time to debrief and receive any feedback you may have. If you are aware of your second and final round interview dates, please let us know so we can inform you of any potential student conflicts. We kindly ask that you are open and timely with candidates regarding their status throughout your hiring process.

Interview at your company’s site
You are welcome to invite students to interview in your office. Please contact each candidate directly to arrange a convenient time to meet.
Recruiting Forums and Other Events
Our MBA Forums, networking events, treks, and company visits are great ways to engage with our MBA students.
MBA Forums are annual career fairs exclusively for companies seeking to engage with MBA talent from the Foster School of Business. The Winter Forum will take place on February 9, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. Secure your spot early by contacting our corporate recruiting team at email@example.com.
Networking Events and Student Clubs

Treks and Company Visits
At least three times a year, student groups travel to various cities throughout the country to visit companies and learn more about the business community and/or particular industries. These are great opportunities to introduce students to your company if you are located outside of the Seattle area.
