MSIS Alumni Network

As an alum of the Master of Science in Information Systems program, you become part of an active alumni network. Throughout the school year, the MSIS alumni network regularly holds events such as round tables, tech talks, mock interviews, lectures, and recruitment events. The purpose is to build strong connections among MSIS alumni and leverage the knowledge, experience, and professional network each alum possesses. MSIS alumni are also part of the Foster alumni network, a group of more than 50,000 graduates making a difference in business and communities around the world.

One of the goals of the MSIS alumni network is to stay connected to students. If you’re a prospective student interested in learning about the program from an alum, feel free to email the alumni leadership team at msisalumni(at)uw.edu. If you’re an MSIS alum, you don’t want to miss out on our fun annual event! Get connected with the alumni network on LinkedIn to stay up-to-date.

Testimonials

Sylvia MinSylvia Min – Class of 2015
There is a sense of community that exists within the Foster MSIS Alumni Program for people who share the same career passions. It leaves the door open after graduation to network and talk about the business problems being solved with IT in different industries. This is important to me because I remain connected with my diverse and passionate colleagues who push me to grow in business and IT.
Megan SteinhilberMegan Steinhilber – Class of 2012
The MSIS Program enabled us to be adequately prepared for encountering real world work experiences in IT and technology management. A highlight from my alumni engagement experience has been our social event for Whirlyball and happy hour. They were great to stay in touch with good friends made while in the program.
