Yes, if you have already been in discussion to transition, and have been exposed to the business you are eligible to participate in the program.

No, content will be applicable broadly for all industries.

There is no minimum requirement of educational degree, GPA, or standardized testing, or TOEFL, however, preferred candidates will possess at least 3 years of experience transitioning into the family business and a strong proficiency of English language.

Unfortunately, no. This portion of the program will run in-person on UW Seattle Campus due to its highly interactive learning format. Please make appropriate travel arrangements to join the program in-person.

Upon successful completion of the program (including attendance, active participation, homework submissions, and capstone project), graduates will receive a Certificate signed by the Dean of the University of Washington Foster School of Business. In addition, the graduates have the option to earn professional continuing education units. See more information about CEUs.

The certificate does not provide university credits towards a degree, but you can obtain professional continuing education units (CEUs).
