How to Apply
Admission to the undergraduate program of the Foster School of Business is capacity-constrained. There are two paths to admission:

Freshman Direct Admission
Freshman Direct Admission gives high school students with a strong interest in studying business the chance to apply to the Foster School while filling out their UW application.
For high school applicants:
- High School Students (incoming freshmen)
- Running Start Students
High School Applicants who meet all eligibility requirements can apply for both Freshman Direct and Standard Admission

Standard Admission
Standard Admissions gives all applicants the opportunity to apply to the Foster School after meeting the minimum application requirements.
For all applicants including:
- Current, Returning, or Former UW Students
- Transfer Students
- International Students
- UW Bothell & UW Tacoma Students

Business Minor
Open to all non-business undergraduate students, the Foster School’s competitive minors offer students the opportunity to leverage their unique talents and gain business knowledge to achieve their goals. Learn about the Business Minor and Entrepreneurship Minor here.
