The Master of Professional Accounting is a full-time program taught by nationally recognized faculty who are supporting the careers of the next generation of audit and assurance professionals. You will gain real-world experience through internships at leading companies, explore emerging technologies like AI, data visualizations, and robotic process automation, and explore budding ESG Accounting practices and regulations to create a path to a rewarding career.

Fostering Inclusive Futures in Accounting

Designed to increase access to careers in accounting for historically marginalized and underrepresented communities, the Foster School’s Masters of Accounting programs offers the Fostering Inclusive Futures in Accounting Weekend once per year.

 

World-Class Faculty

Matt Van Winkle is the Faculty Director of the Master of Professional Accounting program and teaches both Financial Statements Analysis and ESG reporting for the program. Matt brings a unique perspective to the program with his more-than-a-decade of experience in investment research and finance to the classroom, having founded a successful investment research and consultancy business prior to selling the company.

Professor Bergstrom teaches Business Law and Ethics in the MPAcc program. He was awarded the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching and named “Outstanding Faculty” by The Panhellenic Association and the Interfraternal Council.

Professor Curtis teaches data analytics and emerging technologies for the MPAcc program.

Professor Nichols teaches Accounting Codification in the MPAcc program. Outside of the MPAcc program, she is the Faculty Coordinator for the Business Minor and Business Badge programs, and often coaches students for case competitions.
