Congratulations on your admission to the University of Washington’s Full-time MBA Program at the Michael G. Foster School of Business. We are excited to welcome you to our close-knit and collaborative MBA community. At Foster you will find a diverse, yet similarly talented group of purpose-driven leaders committed to working together to achieve great things and lift each other up.

In our program, you will learn from award-winning faculty, trend-setting business leaders, accomplished alumni, and one another. You will work together with students to lead the student experience through clubs, the MBA Association, and social events where your contribution plays a key role in our vibrant community. What you learn in your coursework and leadership experiences combines with your professional development to create a truly transformational experience that positions you to lead with impact.

Admission Events

Whether you have already decided to attend Foster or are still weighing your options, we strongly encourage you to save the date and plan to attend our upcoming Welcome Weekend, with the main program being held on January 31, 2025. Please join us to connect with current students, staff, faculty, and alumni to learn more about what makes the Foster Full-time MBA Program truly exceptional. You’ll get a sense of what it’s like to be a part of our community while learning about our curriculum, career services, facilities, special programs, and student organizations. This event will be informative and celebratory. We certainly hope you will join us.

Prepare for Your Arrival

With your commitment to enroll in the program, you will be connected to the best-in-class resources of the MBA Career Management office and our MBA Program Office. Your professional development and community building experience starts early, so plan to engage in the events, opportunities, and resources available to you over the spring and summer months.

Once your payment has been received, you will be officially enrolled as a member of the Class of 2027. Later this winter, you will receive detailed information regarding accessing the MBA Class of 2027 site which will prove invaluable in assisting you with various aspects of your preparation, such as relocating to Seattle, keeping track of upcoming deadlines and tasks, navigating academic requirements, accessing career management resources, staying informed about student life and events, and more.

Orientation

SAVE THE DATES! The Foster Full-Time MBA Program officially begins with mandatory Orientation August 25 through September 12, with additional mandatory International Student Orientation on August 20 and 21. Classes start September 15, and your calendar will quickly start to fill up with both academic and social commitments, so please plan your summer fun prior to late August.
