Congratulations and Welcome to Foster!
We are thrilled you’re accepting our offer to join the MSCM Class of 2026!
To accept, complete both steps below. We ask that you do so within two weeks of receiving the offer letter. Please note that we require a non-refundable payment to secure your spot in the program: a $3000 Enrollment Confirmation Deposit (ECD), which is paid through the MyGrad application portal. The ECD payment will be applied to your first quarter’s program fee.
Before paying your Enrollment Confirmation Deposit (ECD), you will first need to create your UW NetID:
- Log in to the UW Graduate Application with the email and password you used to create your application for admission and navigate to the Application Status Page.
- Follow the link to the UW NetID site to create your UW NetID.
- Select “Outlook” for your email option when asked to choose between “Outlook” or “Gmail.”
- On the Application Status page, you will see your UW Student Number and your Private Access Code (PAC). Make a note of your PAC and Student Number for this process and select “UW Student” when creating your UW NetID.
Note: If you are an applicant who already has a UW NetID (i.e. current or former student, alumni, faculty or staff member of the University of Washington), you do not need to establish a new UW NetID. Use your existing UW NetID to log in. For help with your UW NetID, contact the UW-IT Service Center at (206) 221-5000 or [email protected]. They can also help you change or reset UW NetID Passwords or recover a forgotten UW NetID.
After creating your UW NetID, navigate back to the Application Status page to make your $3000 ECD payment:
- Click “Accept Your Offer.”
- Pay the Enrollment Confirmation Deposit.
- We recommend that you print or electronically save a copy of your enrollment confirmation deposit for your records.

What comes next…
Through the spring months, we will stay in contact via email. You will receive regular communication about enrollment logistics, joining your cohort community, access to an online portal full of important onboarding information, required forms to complete, remote events, and preparatory coursework.
Plan to arrive and be ready to start your MSCM journey by the week of June 16th, 2025. All new students are expected to be in Seattle and on campus for in-person orientation programming throughout the week.
Portions of MSCM orientation are degree requirements, and all components set students up for academic and professional success. We will formally share the official dates and schedule for the in-person orientation week closer to the start of the program.
It’s important to note the MSCM Program’s academic calendar slightly differs from the University of Washington’s academic calendar. More information will be shared during spring months.
**NOTE: All international students will have a required orientation hosted by CIRCLE.
