The New York Times reports that Amazon is cutting 10,000 corporate and technology employees as soon as this week. There has been no official word from Amazon about these possible layoffs, but it would be the biggest job loss in the company’s history. Jeff Shulman, professor of marketing at the UW, is quoted.
