A core component of the MSIS curriculum, the mentorship program connects students with Seattle-based IT leaders through a unique one-to-one professional relationship that can bridge the gap between academic concepts and real-world practices. Students are high achievers, self-directed, and motivated, and mentors influence student success in the classroom and beyond.
As a mentor, you can expect to:
- Work with early to mid-career students seeking technology and business leadership careers
- Support and guide the next generation of business leaders
- Discuss current technology and business trends coming out of the MSIS program
- Develop networking connections and have access to top talent
- Share your accomplishments and knowledge with students from around the country and the world
Our mentorship program emphasizes a mutually workable schedule and there is no official minimum requirement of contact hours. Mentors can provide students with career advice, help with business communication skills, networking opportunities, and professional development.
