Who will conduct my interview?
Your interview will be conducted by a member of the Foster MBA Admissions team. Interview assignments are random based on the availability of our staff.
If I interview early in the round, will I get my decision earlier?
There is no benefit to interviewing early. All candidates invited to interview will receive decision notifications on the same date. Please see the Admissions website for the notification date you can expect to receive your admission decision by.
I’m nervous about a virtual interview; will this hurt my chances of getting admitted?
We would love to meet with you in person, but unfortunately at this time are unable to offer in person on campus interviews. While we share your disappointment, please know that our admission team interviews hundreds of candidates each year, and we have found that virtual admissions interviews work extremely well and allow us to have meaningful conversations with our candidates from both near and far. A virtual admissions interview will in no way hurt your chances of getting admitted.
What should I bring to my interview?
You are not required to bring anything special to the interview. Bringing a copy of your resume isn’t necessary as your interviewer will have had a chance to review it, along with the rest of your application, prior to your interview.
How long will my interview last?
Interviews generally take around 30 minutes, but we suggest blocking off a full hour just in case the conversation runs long.
What is the appropriate attire?
We suggest that you dress as you would for a professional job interview.
What happens if I need to reschedule?
Please contact the Admissions Office at [email protected] as soon as possible so that we can help you reschedule your appointment.
