Foster’s Master of Science in Taxation prepares accounting professionals with quality education, strong ethics, innovative thinking, and excellent oral and written communication skills. The program additionally prepares students for high-level careers in taxation, where economic decision-making depends on an in-depth knowledge of the tax code and its ramifications.
Our MST is the oldest tax-specific accounting master’s program in the Pacific Northwest. Students take classes full time from late September through early June. These classes prepare students for the opportunities, challenges, and experiences of work in the accounting profession. They also satisfy the additional credits required to sit for the CPA exam in the State of Washington.
For students who plan to work in Seattle after graduation, getting an MST at Foster means going to school with the same people who will be coworkers less than a year later. For students who are searching for jobs outside Seattle, Foster’s location provides proximity and networking opportunities with the largest accounting firms on the West Coast and in the world.
