It’s all about teamwork

Students often cite their learning teams as a key benefit to supporting the fast-paced nature of the TMMBA. Each learning team consists of 4-6 students and is thoughtfully constructed with a diversity of positions, companies, academic backgrounds, and interests in mind. TMMBA learning teams offer support, expanding perspectives, lasting friendships, a strong professional network, and are critical to successfully completing this accelerated, 18-month, MBA program.

Beyond the classroom

Beyond the classroom, TMMBA students can take advantage of a variety of activities, speaker events, and real-world experiences. Below are a few popular student activities:

  • Budding entrepreneurs can attend speaker events and participate in business competitions through the Foster School’s Arthur W. Buerk Center for Entrepreneurship.
  • Students interested in non-profits and board service may elect to apply for the Board Fellows Program, which will provide a solid foundation in board governance and consulting practices.
  • Second-year students may opt for participating in the nine-month TMMBA Mentoring Program. This unique program offers students the ability to gain an alumni mentor that provides professional guidance and support as students navigate career opportunities or professional challenges.
