The Professional Sales Program is open to all UW undergraduate students. Students can start an application before they have reached 90 credits and continue to update it over time. The application to the Professional Sales Program is open to all UW undergraduate majors who have reached 90 credits (junior standing) and hold a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA. You should submit your application to the program as soon you are eligible. This will allow you to gain the most benefit from the internships, mentors, and networking opportunities the program provides. See below for more details.
Freshman and Sophomores
Complete the prospective student information form and let us know you are interested in the Foster Professional Sales Program! This will help us get to know you, your interests, and allow us to keep you up-to-date on ways you can connect with the program.
- Complete the prospective student information form.
- During your freshman and sophomore years, take ECON 200 and ACCTG 215 or 219.
- Once you have reached 90 credits, apply to the Professional Sales Program and enroll in MKTG 301. MKTG 301 is a perquisite to the Professional Sales Program curriculum.

Juniors and Seniors
The Professional Sales Program application is open for submission to all UW undergraduate majors with 90 credits completed and a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA. Students accepted into the Sales Program who will be graduating between Spring 2018-Winter 2019 will be required to take MKTG 496 (Sales Practicum) Spring quarter 2018. In the meantime, we can work with you to help place you into internships.
Students accepted into the Professional Sales Program who will be graduating between Spring 2017-Winter 2018 will be required to take MKTG 496 (Sales Practicum) Spring quarter 2017. The deadline for these students to apply is December 15, 2016. Exceptions to this deadline may apply.
